Does anyone have their 2006 TSX paired with their iPhone 5? I cannot seem to get them to pair.
Did some googling. Reset everything to factory on the TSX. I speak a code, my phone finds it, I choose it. Then the pairing fails when my iPhone tells me to "make sure the device is in range and discoverable".
I know there's an issue with the new Acura models, does this leak to my year??

2 of them sync'd fine on my 08. Have you tried hard resetting the phone? Hold down power and home button till you get the apple logo. You don't lose any data but sometimes things get stuck. Its equivalent to restarting a computer.

Lol yes I've tried that. Most of the suggestions online. I'm only trying to confirm and iPhone 5 (ios6.1.2) & 06 TSX sync (dont know the HFL diffs to 08, if any) Will have to try and find someone around here that can lend me another iPhone to try maybe. My 3G and 4S worked fine.

Anyone on a iPhone 5 sync with an 06?

I have an 06 and actually paired it for the first time today. Before I paired it I deleted the old phone stored in the system. I used 1234 as the pair code. My iPhone 5 (Verizon, iOS 6.1.3) paired immediately. Has automatically paired every time I start the vehicle.

Thanks guys! At least I know that it can for sure be done. Is everyone on the latest iOS? The 6.1.2 I believe?
I'll tinker around. I did delete all the phones and then restored the HFL to factory settings.
I'll have to try other phones too.

Ya I deleted them all then factory restore it. Yet to get another i5 to test. My buddy was supposed to help, but he's got bigger issues to deal with suddenly. I'm going to try an i4 just to check

I have an 08 tsx w/ nav and have successfully paired my iPhone 5 with it as well; I know you've got an 06 but should be the same I'd assume. I do however get an issue sometimes when the car is off and i turn on my phones bluetooth prior to starting the car -- sometimes they dont pair properly... Setup / initial pairing however was fine

Iam having this problem with my 5s and now my hfl button works only when it feels like it wtf going on
I finally got my phone to work by pairing during safe mode. Now it auto pairs on its own.
Except that I use a Grom unit instead lol.

If your having probs with your HFL button, different story. Search/make a thread :)

Mine started to work again, but I believe I had to pair my phone while is safe mode. That what worked for me, however, I had safe mode option because it's jailbroken. But that should mean it works with "all jailbroken features off" = stock. Have you tried deleting or removing HFL profile from your phone (forget) and repairing? It did take me several tries for sure.
