I just picked up a 2006 TSX 6MT+Navi with 120 000KMs. The navigation DVD was from 2011 so I decided to update it.
Going through the official site (acuranavi.navigation.com) the suggested DVD to buy is the Orange V3.D0 2014 update, for 179$USD. So I buy the disk and it arrives via FedEx the next day. All seems good.
Today, when I inserted the new disc in my DVD reader in the trunk I got the message 'DVD Disc Error please consult your dealer'. Re-inserted the old 2011 DVD and it works fine.
I started doing a bit of research, since HERE's Customer service is now closed for Memorial Day. I found out there was an upgrade in the navigation system from 2005 to 2006, but for some odd reason, the website says that the DVD I bought it compatible with 2005 and 2006 models with no mention of 2004. If I look for a 2007 (which is the same unit as a 2006 if I'm not mistaken) they suggest the '2015 Grey and White V4.D0'.
Now I'm starting to think something is messed up with their website and they actually sent me a 2004-2005 navigation version of the DVD instead of a 2006+.
Am I missing something here?
DVD part number is U3231-00750-3 (no mention for which Acura model specifically either)
