2009 Acura Tsx engine under tray missing
I recently bought a 2009 tsx (2.4) and it's missing the shield that protects the underside of the engine.
Only options I can find are the $400 OEM one, or a $200 aftermarket metal one. Are there any other options ? Is the metal skid plate thing a decent option ?

Most of the 2.4’s I’ve seen are missing that cover. It’s better to have one there but you’d be ok without it. I’d go OEM if you end up wanting one because some of the aftermarket ones are a different type of polypropylene that like to eventually sag and it will get damaged anyways. Worse if you don’t put all the clips in and worse if you have any fluid leaks.
