Going turbo on this premium tsx hopping to hit 600hp what do you guys think ?
Looking into upgraded Helical gears so it could resist the Horsepower just making sure specs are the same on the sizings and sinchronizers as well . After blowing this one going manual. You’ll have absolutely no chance with the auto trans. Do the Z3’s even have the aftermarket internals available to handle that?
Nice you had went turbo on the auto ? I'm going to blow this one before going manual still looking into what trans I want .Yeah the motor will take it for who knows how long but that trans is blowing up in 5 seconds lmao. I know cause I have killed 2 trans at 240wheel. Soooo yeah. If you are willing go manual trans or get a manual car first before starting that.

The K24Z3’s in all the TSX’s had the 11:1 comp ratio. The 10.5 was in the accords.I read up on the the auto / manual and this 2010 k24z3 has highest compression ratio 11:1 when the later model has 10:5.1 engine compression ratio.
I will get a manual and will have to add pedal and master cylinder with slave from a TL or FK8 TRANSMISSION PRICEY still thinking what way to go about it .The K24Z3’s in all the TSX’s had the 11:1 comp ratio. The 10.5 was in the accords.
Flamie also has a 1st Gen TSX which has the K24A2. Way better aftermarket than our Z3’s.
Instead of building the auto trans and going manual when it breaks, why not just go manual to begin with?
Lol sounds like you've done it bud explain ? Super tempting bro ..Plz don't
I've had these thoughts too, I know its tempting... you'll destroy your trans lulz
Well, I haven't done it on my tsx, but since I do miss my Focus St, I'd like to get back the boost feeling you know~ then I had an r18 civic and I also looked into boosting it. Sad results, piston rings and engine internals aren't made for such pressure. If I'm correct, Ericthecarguy mentioned that k24z3 -200hp- are relatively higher in pressure compared to, let's say, mazda 3 2.5L skyactiv engine -180hp-. I wouldn't recommend boosting it unless you really wanna invest the 4 to 6k^^ rings will be damaged over time if you dont change some internalsLol sounds like you've done it bud explain ? Super tempting bro ..
