I posted this on K20a . org as well but thought TSXclub would also be a great place to talk about this.

Hi everyone, I have been lurking on here for a while and buying parts off the classifieds. I have to say that this site is absolutely f****g amazing, the information thats on here. I've done my searches etc. but could not find a real answer to this so I apologize if Im being redundant.

-Hondata has released a reflash for the 09-10 TSX
-I drive a 11-12 TSX. I emailed hondata, they said they dont have plans to release one for my year TSX
-Difference between 09-10 and 11-12 tsx is just a face lift, no engine changes that I know of.
-Can I put a 09/10 TSX ECU in my car, and pair that with the 09/10 Reflash? I understand I might lose some technological functioning, get a CEL etc. But will my car still run ok? I understand no one has any direct experience so I WILL NOT hold anybody accountable. I just need advice or opinions on what my options are.
-I emailed hondata, they said their KPRO would not be an option for me, no explanation provided.
-I called a local tuner shop and asked about other stand alone ECU's such as the AEM and Kpro, they advised against it.
-What are my tuning options really? I have an intake, J35 throttle body, RBC manifold, downpipe and test pipe..and I really need a reflash to tie everything together. Im so discouraged because theres just no support for my chassis and no one has experimented either.

I really appreciate any help at all folks. Thanks.

Thanks for those replies guys! I really appreciate the feedback. I do not know if the part #'s are actually different but I really assume they are. If they weren't, hondata probably would have told me so. But I will look into it!

Part numbers are not the same. You need to check the pinouts for each ECU to make sure they are the same. Cheapest way to do that is get a 3 day subscription to Honda Service Express for $10. You can access all the wiring diagrams and vehicle info. Here is the link: Helm Incorporated: Product Search Engine

Select the 2009 TSX and scroll down until you see the item for the 3 day subscription. :tu:

Hi, I was wondering, if you found by any chance, a dyno of a 2009 flashproed TSX. I have searched all around, me too on k20a etc... Its like if nobody have posted results. I'm wondering, how many hp we could get. I have download the flashpro manager, opened the ''stock'' map from hondata for the 09 tsx. The RPM limiter is set to 8100 rpm. I mean, is it safe? This engine will scream at these Rpm's

Thanks
JF
