So I'm really considering buying these tires off craigslist (bridgestone potenza re050a). They are 215/45/18 80% on 2 and 40% on the other 2. Would the fitment be ok on my volk gt-v 18x8 +43? I'm ok with a little stretch and I have a fairly decent drop.

they should be fine. I'd prefer 225/40 or 235/40 if you can get away with it.

235/40/18 will be the closest to stock diameter (meaning most accurate speedo, VSA, etc.)

Thanks guys, I held off on buying these for now. Little iffy on the tires that are only 40%. Anyone here bought used tires with little tread life left? Anything to worry about? I would like to find 225/40/18 if I could...
