I just ordered my wheels, which are non stagger 18x8 +35ET
I was originally planning on ordering 225/40 tires, but I'm wondering if anyone has run a 225/45 series in a similar offset. Id like as much meat on the tire as I can fit. I am already planning on getting the fenders rolled for added clearance..

Anyone else running 225/45?

If you're not going to slam, I don't see why not. I was actually thinking about this on my set of 18x8 +36. When with a 215/45 instead so I can go lower.

Yeah I figured as much, I'm pretty low right now (no finger gap in front and about 1/2'' gap in rear (215/50/17)

Im not sure if that qualifies as slammed or not, I'm not tucking :p

maybe think about 235/40/18? It is closest to the OEM diameter so your speedo will be more accurate.

I don't think that width will fit on a 8 inch rim running a 35 offset..

Very Helpful link!! thank you. 225/40 would be the most ideal, I didnt think the 45 series was larger than oem!
