I just did mine except I haven't located an aftermaket ( aka cheaper )
cabin filter yet and haven't done that.
The 5AT really needs tranny fluid changed at 30K. Honda's are hell on fluids.
The plug is hard to find, it is 3/8 drive socket, need a big 3/8 ratchet
or breaker bar, it was tight. Need a new crush washer like on the oil plug
except it is a different size and washer.
Get a turkey baster and suck out everything from the front brake resevoir
section. Cover everything, brake fluid gets everywhere.
There was alot of sediment in there. Do not let this sediment get
into the rear resevoir, don't fill up until you get all this sediment out.
My brakes are getting flakey lately, this may be my problem.
Add a little more new fluid and suck out until you get all the sediment.
Then fill up and bleed brakes out until clean fluid is coming from each
caliper. There was sendiment in the calipers too. Honda's are hell
on fluids.
Some of the plastic pins on the bottom engine cover would not come
out without breaking, good thing I had 4 new ones on hand. These
need two screwdrivers to pry from two sides to avoid breakage.
It's looks like I'm only getting 40k out of EBC front pads and inside
of rotors have deep wear edge. Im am getting slotted zinc plated
rotors and try another pad type in the next 10k, maybe Hawk.
The EBC work for stopping but this is heavy wear on the rotors.

Has anyone yet done the 30k miles service on their TSX? Mine is coming up, and I was check for some online specials at different dealers. One of the specials is $360! I didn't know it would be this much. Can anyone comment on how much they paid or suggestions on how to get a cheaper price. I don't however want to go to some shady mechanic who won't use acura parts, and won't even change the fuel filters, air filters, and air cleaner element; along with fluid flushes/refills.
