Well folks, there you have it in the title. The TSX is my wife's and she's the owner. I'm more of the mechanic and "hey, this looks great!" guy. So, I picked this up from my sister since she needed to upgrade to a minivan for her kids so before she traded it in, I asked her to just sell it to me. I tried to convince her to give it to me as a sibling to sibling exchange, but she said no so we agreed to $2K. It's an 05 and at the time of picking it up, it had around 130-140K on it. Wife needed a new car since her VW Rabbit decided to take a dump right at 100K. Trans was starting to go so we sold it for cheap on CL and got this.

Right before I picked it up, she backed up the pick up truck into the front so it damaged the grille, and passenger headlight.

This was after we got it home. You can see the grille and headlight all jacked up.

So....with that happening, I ordered the OEM Honda grille, depo headlights, yellow fogs, coilovers, OEM Window Visors, and A-spec front lip.

This is after installing the above mentioned. Also had 15mm spacers on all 4. (my accord coupe next to it)

So few weeks down the line, I order new tires (Continental DWS's 235/45) for my TL-S wheels and threw them on the car. (They are her favorite wheels; OEM atleast) and found a shop with a low enough rack for an alignment. A TruHart rear camber kit was also installed. Height was right on top of the tire.

Don't have any pictures of what I ordered between the times but I ordered and received the A-spec rear lip and sides. Also got the windows tinted 20% all around. The TL-S wheels have the OEM Honda center caps (color isn't perfect though) and I got the rear H emblem for a can of monster and the rear euro-R emblem for free. lol

Ordered a bug deflector. Here she is with my POS civic. haha

Put on a UR front strut bar. Apparently, this was the V2 and was angled. It fits perfectly and still utilizes the OEM strut bar, but the spark plug cover has to be removed.

Then the wife changed her mind. She wanted it to say Acura instead of honda. So....sold my honda grille for $100 and got an OEM Acura one. Also got the OEM TL-S center caps from a buddy. She also was tired of the clear/depo headlights and wanted to the orange reflector/turn signal. A buddy had a spare set and hooked me up.

And most recently, I installed new tips. She doesn't want an exhaust so figured, might as well look like she has one. lol Found these tips online and they looked great.

And lastly, the only rolling shot I have of it.

Looks great! Im new to the tsx community and am really liking all the work that you have done so far. Wondering if you still have the depo headlights since your wife didnt like them? And if so did you want to sell them?

I have them somewhere in a box. It's actually a 95% OEM set because I switched everything out of the headlight and replaced it with the OEM housings and projectors. Only thing that aren't OEM, are the turn signal reflector, side marker, and the front cover. But I'll ask if she wants to sell em.

It's on Megan Racing EZ streets. I'm gonna order BC's for her later down the road. Only installed the rear cause it's not too low and the camber was within OEM specs. And alignment was $70, but it varies obviously by location and stuff.

Very nice can't wait to see more :)

Thanks man!

Your TSX looks good but you are braver than I am.

If I lowered my wife's TSX and installed nice 18" wheels, I would regret it totally. :)

However, you might have taught your wife to drive a manual trans. If my wife can drive a manual trans, anyone can!

I hope my wife is not reading this!.. :ninja:

Haha. I can feel you on that one. But it was her choice to lower it. I only suggested it but she's the one that said yeah. Long as it didn't turn her fenders into bacon, she was fine. The TL-S's are 17's and unfortunately, it's an auto which is good since we live in an area with a huge traffic volume. She knows how to drive manual, but refuses to drive my civic. haha.

Clean car! What size rotors did you go with? 12.6" or 12.8"? Please do report if there are any issues with the setup!

Once again, car looks clean! Keep up the great work :)

I'm going to go with 12.8. Stoptech drilled & slotted (i think they're both) off the 350z with brembo's. Also heard that you can run the newer altima rotors as well. Shouldn't be an issue other than the brake dust shield. I have to either remove it or cut it so it can fit the brackets.

Thanks!

So, I was finally able to find time to install these 2.

Sorry for the dark pictures. And after installation.

First impressions; wow. I knew the sway bar would make a difference but wasn't too sure about the brace. But man. world's of a difference. I have yet to take it off a off/on-ramp and various speeds but turning around street corners I could def feel the car more planted. Man.

Parts:
Ultra Racing rear H-brace
OEM TL-S 20mm rear sway bar with brand new OEM bushings and brackets.

Great work! I have a TL-S swaybar too but havent gotten around to installing it yet
Thanks. It's a fairly inexpensive mod and very worth it. Way bigger than the stock 14mm bar. I don't think the progress warrants the price for an extra 2mm, unless you're gonna track it and adjust it I suppose. The TL-S bar itself is only like $40-50 bucks. It's so huge compared to stock.

She does. She doesn't know some of the stuff that I've done to it but she likes the way it looks. I'll show her some stuff and she'll give me a yay or nay. She told me what color she wants her calipers, but she doesn't know I'm doing the RL BBK. lol.

Yep. What can I say. I got the calipers for a steal. <$125 shipped for both. I mean, I honestly wasn't going to but when I stumbled on these, I decided to go ahead and do the swap. Just need the brackets, pads, and stainless lines and I'll be ready to go ahead with the swap after rebuilding and painting the calipers. She won't know but she'll def. feel the stopping power. haha
