I just installed a comptech header today and i was looking at my stock header and notice a plate inside the header right in the middle. My crazy question is if i was to remove the plate inside the header would it be more flow or not.

btw.. did you install the header your self? was it pretty hard?

No i had my mechanic installed it. I was there when he put it in and it didnt look hard.

let me see if i can take some pix and show you guys. I know its kinda hard to explain.

It divides the flow of the exhaust gases, no it won't improve performance. It's pretty much engineered to be in place for optimal performance from an OEM point.
