Hi I recently hit a pothole where my car was damaged badly. I changed my upper and lower control arms my axel broke and was replaced my caliper bent and was replaced my rim was destroyed and replaced and I needed to buy a new abs sensor bc it wouldnt come out of the old spindle tht I replaced also. Everything is back together but im getting all three of my lights. I connected a scan tool and am getting the code 21-1 front bright pulsar failure. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CODE AND HOW DO I FIX IT!!! PLEASE HELP iM EXHAUSTED WITH FIGURING THIS OUT.

Btw this was all on the passenger side.

DTC 21 is for the right-front magnetic encoder. Here's a pic of the troubleshooting page:

I meant magnetic encoder (A)

Haven't looked there recently. You'll have figure out in relation to the location of the ABS sensor (B)

Does anyone know what the encoder is? Is it the wheel bearing or the axel ring a silver ring tht sits in the bearing.

I know this is an old thread, but was there an answer ? I am getting right front pulser failure and need to know if I should replace the axle or the bearing. Thanks,
