Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums but Ive worked for Acura for many years. I was reading a lot of the posts about the weight of the oil some dealerships are using, and I figured I would help clear the air.
I've attached the newest Oil Application Guide from Acura.
You'll notice 04-08 TSX's are 5w30 ONLY, 5w20 is not considered acceptable by Honda.
I'm not saying you can't use it, but if you have a dealership using 5w20, tell them to pull up the Oil Application Guide from the Acura iN.
