I really want to upgrade my system, but I have a few questions. Will installing aftermarket stuff void my warranty? If not, here's my prob:
I had a sweet system in my Jeep, consisting of:
ALPINE CDA-9820XM head unit
Alpine Type R 6.5" components w/ kenwood sub powering
Two 10" Rockford Fosgate Subs w/ MTX sub powering both
Now my problem is, most places I have checked with say that the Apline head unit cant be installed with the Navi system, and I'll have to get an FM Modulated XM unit ( I need my XM!)
I am thinking about selling my head unit and XM antenna, my subs and box. I would keep the speakers, then buy two 8" subs and an XM commander.
Will 8" subs fit in the rear deck with some modification? Also, why is it so difficult to add stuff with the Navi system?
