The auto-dimming rear view mirror doesn't work very well in my new TSX. It doesn't dim at all in the twilight and when the headlights hit at an angle.

Is there any adjustment that sevice can make?

Basically it is show the sensor sees the difference between the light coming from behind and the light in the cabin, so if the difference isn't higher than a threshold, the auto dimming function won't work.

You might want to take it in for service, and have them see if the photoelectric eyes are properly aligned and/or have the proper resistance. Since the photoelectric eyes are recessed in the mirror, they may not catch all the angles

Good idea. Thanks.

Who manufactures this mirror?
