Aux input has gone dead??

Hi folks,

first time posting on here but I've been reading since I got my 04 TSX a month or so ago.

Anyways, when I got my car it had a basic headphone jack input in the cd holder box. It was the sound gate one. It worked ok but I wanted to be able to use the steering wheel controls and get a bit better sound/volume. It was an easy install and the new one worked perfectly...for about a week.
It now has nothing. When I hit the cd/aux in button it only goes to cd. The ipod module had a red led that said "power' under it and it doesn't light up anymore. I re-installed the soundgate one and it doesn't work either.

I've searched around the forum but I havn't found anything like this yet. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there a fix? I checked the fuses in the kick panel and they are all fine. The rest of the radio work perfectly. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
