Pretty sure my TEIN SS coilovers are blown. The front seem to be holding up but the rears are bouncy. What do I go abouts doing for this. I heard that Tein themselves can actually "retube" or repair the coils for a small fee. Not sure if anyones ever got this done. Some input would be great. Short on cash so not ready to drop $1k for a new set of coils.

Ahaha guess that'd be a good start. Just figured if anyone else here had any inputs on what to do and if refinishing them would be reliable.

usually when a strut is blown, you'll see some oil dripping from it. I'd contact tein and maybe they have an authorized dealer/shop that can diagnose for you in your city.

Since you've been complaining about how SS dont go low enough, maybe just save enough for another set of coils rather than rebuilding + getting springs for your current SS

Yeah I've considered that. Just figured I could rebuild these then sell them to someone and buy a new set.
