Hey guyz anyone uses this? I'm just wondering if anyone notices a diffrence between a Convex (wide curved) mirror or a real flat mirror from companies such as Broadway or Type R and how are your experiences with them?

These mirrors extend the coverage so you don't have to look over your shoulders to check the blind spot (Basically for safety so you can keep your eyes in front all the time).

In general, the more convex it is, the wider the area coverage is, of course the distance becomes smaller. Broadway mirrors are superior in construction and quality. Type R is more like a copy/imitation of that. If you find the OEM mirror too small, this will be a worthy upgrade.

Noel have you tried to fit one on a tsx? I'm wondering if it would fit with those buttons on the rear view mirror.

It's compatible to 95% of all mirrors on the market. You shouldn't have any problems with fitment. It just snaps in place over the current mirror anyway, easy on and off.

i've tried putting one of these mirrors over the oem mirror..but it seems like the dimmer function on the bottom of the oem mirror sticks out too much..and the broadway doesnt look good imo..if we had a normal sized mirror...i'd definitely have a broadway

i have one broadway wide mirror...it was from my old car..
but can't fit dat onto the mirror...coz of the base..those buttons..
however, i just try to c if dat mirror fit tho..coz i want to keep the dimmer function too...

I have had one on my '98 Volvo for the last 7 years.

It's about a bazillion times better than the flat left-hand mirror on the TSX. I'm guessing it's a standard feature on the Accords sold in continental Europe. Any idea of any source???

Hmmmmm. From the Honda.de website. I don't see the tell-tale "line" in the mirror.

Well I've never seen it on any Japanese makes/models. But it's fairly common on European makes/models. Since this isn't a standard in Japan, aftermarket tuners wouldn't focus on making European styled mirrors either. The only type of replacement mirrors I've seen for Japanese makes/models are generally colored type. Blue being the most common, while I've also seen green, yellow and pink.

I don't know if you need to be corrected...

While I've seem some info indicating that Murakami even makes aspheric outside rear view mirrors for Mercedes I still don't see where I can buy 'em for an Accord/TSX ... and if they're right side mirrors available for RHD JDM Accords, they'd be all wrong for a LHD car anyway.

saw dat on 2005 spoon catalogue...may go order one set of those mirrors later...
