I saw this bulbs/LEDs webpage a few months ago and still haven't figured out what the big deal is with it...I guess these LEDs are cool or something since they are not brighter than normal bulbs. The best info from this webpage is the bulb part numbers, especially this...Recommendation: To match the tint of the stock HID low beam, try Philips Blue Vision H1.

Actually, good/high quality manufactured LED lights are definitely much brighter than conventional bulbs. Not to mention, they're the only type of lighting with the maximum lifetime available.

PIAA halogen bulbs would come closer to matching HID lighting/color outputs, but of course pricing is a premium when compared to Philips.

Not according to their own FAQ: http://www.e-clipse.net/tsx/lightsfaq.html

Q. Are LEDs dimmer than the OEM bulbs?

A. The LEDs are a bit dimmer than the OEM bulbs, but are still highly visible. The difference is more noticeable during the day, of course, but not so much at night.
