I've own my Glock 21sf for 3 years now and shot well over 500+rds. Hasn't jammed on me yet, and I rarely clean it. I'd get a shotgun for home defense with buck shot. Due to area the balls fly at. Unless you have an extended mag for your pistol. Please don't get a Desert Eagle, it's a waste of money honestly. Yeah it's cool but not particle.
But what do you mean by AR must be CA compliant? I own lots of 30rd mags, but they wont take it cause i use it for military use.:jester: And I'm planning on building my second AR soon.
Opps I accidentally edited your post. My apologizes.
If you have a preban magazine (1993 i think, correct me if im wrong) then you can have it here.
If you AR-15 has at least 2 of the following "evil" features:
Pistol Grip
Flash Hider
Removable Mag
Bayonet Mount
Adjustable Stock
then you are NOT allowed to have a detachable magazine. You must have a bullet button which requires a effing tool to remove your magazine. If you bring 30 rounders here then you MUST disassemble it as soon you step foot in Kalifornia.
if you are using a 30 round magazine to defend your home and you get caught with it then you will get in trouble.
For Example, hypothetically speaking, if Joe used a ar-15 SEMI-AUTO /w a 30 round magazine to defend his home from MULTIPLE intruders (because according to Joe 10 rounds isn't enough to protect his family) and he disassemble his magazine before the police arrives then this will be UNLAWFUL.
BTW
www.nevadashooters.com is selling pmags 30 rounds for 12 bucks each and they'll disassemble it and ship to california for free.
