Trust me chuson, you'll need a PC (or other type of dual action polisher). I can't believe the results i got, even for using it for the first time.
To make it shine, you'll need the right wax/sealant to make it work. As i mentioned before, the OTC product you'll find in Crappy Tire/Walmart can only be acceptable at best. But you're right, on white car, it is more difficult.

Actually, one time when I pass thru somewhere mid-town, close to Bathurst ave and York Mills area, there's a Petro Canada there has a Car detailing service. I saw a group of 16-20?Yrs old teens did some detailing on a MB-S600 and a Lexus LS430, I really don't trust those guys so end up I detailed my car by myself.

Pretty nice chuson! I've been so lazy this year. I've waxed my car in april and wash the car perhaps only 3 times after that....
Zaino although seems expensive but its really not since you use a small amount per application. I see you got the spoiler on!!! Looks nice! maybe i'll fnd time to fit mine on this weekend!

I went to this one place once prior to the one that I usually go to now....and they did such a sh*tty job...I almost felt bad for not giving the guys a tip! I did a minor inspection around the car and it was just crappy work! They didn't even clean it for more than 10-15 min. The manager walked by because he saw that I was upset and still didn't do anything about it. So, I left and that was the first and last time I ever went to that place!
Now this place that I go to now....they do an AMAZING job! They really take their time and plus you are there (if you choose to) to see it all happen. It's kind of like getting your oil change. You want to be around when they do the work to make sure they do the job! And they did and that's why it's worth driving that far just to get it detailed once a month! :grinno:
Plus, it's always nice to see some dope rides that go there! hehe Ferraris, Bentleys, porsches, Benz, BMW, etc...there was this one car that looked like a Range Rover, but it had an "S" emblem on the front grill and on the front sides as well. I didn't check what kind of car it was, but it was niiiiiiiiiice! Plus, it had those "S" emblems! haha

I recently found out what does it mean to detail a car 101 Guide of automobile detailing | How to detail a car at home . This is a very useful material that will be useful for both beginners and professionals in car cleaning. Here is a list of tools that have come in handy for me. I am very happy because now I can not spend a lot of money on detailing.
