When you changed ignition did you program the trasponder key to match ecu?

The ignition switch piggy-backs onto the key cylinder mechanism and is not associated with transponder.
Key reprogramming is not required after it's replacement.

It could be the starter. Check to see if you get correct voltage at starter solenoid when you turn the key.
