Im not happy at all with the CD player not playing burned CD's, i dont understand why it cuts out intermittently. I called Acura, and they said that the CD player does not recognize burned CD's well, the weird thing is that about 60% of the time it works just fine, and the rest of the time the laser keeps searching for the track, then after searching for a while, it will read LOAD CD, or no CD....anyone else experience this???

Try burning at the slowest speed your burner supports. I still burn at 2x and sometimes 4x even though my Lite-On supports 52x.

The only problem I have is that the player does not always pick up the first track on the disc. You have to go to the 2nd track and then back to the 1st.

I did burn one disc at 48x and it was just a 70-min skip

Try a slower burn.
