I know there are not a lot of us 2nd gens out there with super chargers but I think it would be great if we could come here to ask questions about the kits and different upgrades that are out there for the kits and how well they are working.

I am getting ready to install mine and I would love to know what other people have done to their kits and what is needed to upgrade them.

Thanks in advance for anyone's information that they give.

This is what I have going on soon.

I also have Deastchwerks 550cc injectors. For this kit and I will be picking up a 3 inch pulley the start of my collecting parts for a upgrade :)

Here is my June 27th drive to Vits shop.

3inch pulley has been bought :)

Hope this thread is not a one way conversation. Lol

I have nothing really useful to say to be honest, but I'll make it less than a one-way conversation to say the least :)

Parts are beautiful. I'm so jealous lol. I'd be so on that if I had a 6MT. Just doesn't feel worth my time on a 5AT, especially with the extra drivetrain loss.

ssjoeboe9 has a stage 2 setup with aftercooler, and he's currently e-tuning with Vit. I'm not sure how active he is here, but he's definitely active on azine.

From what I've gathered, you MIGHT need a new intake if you don't have one already, as the forced induction may collapse/flex the stock airbox. I think Joe has a custom (low-budget) metal tube design, much like the Takeda or other metal tube intakes. You'll need the PCD and test pipe for sure (which I believe you already have) because the exhaust restrictions on the stage 2 setup are enormous. For now, I think he's still on the stock catback. I don't think Vit has complained about that being a real restriction yet. You'll also need Hondata for tuning if you don't already have it (Vit will likely have one for sale anyway), and it'll be highly recommended you get a wideband sensor to track your AFR in case you're about to blow up :)

He also had belt slip issues, but I don't recall the actual solution. Vit had to pause his e-tune until he fixed it. He may have gotten a new and different sized belt altogether.

I know this is the tsxclub forum, and we really shouldn't be referring to other/competitor forums. But if you want more information, I can PM you his build thread on azine. It may save you some head/heart aches down the road. :)

Good luck obert!

Thanks for the info and yeah as for now I am just staying with stage 1 to get this thing going. I have a flash pro and Vit has already sent me a base map to get it going.

I do have a cold air intake :)

I will at some point get a nice AEM A/F gauge but it sucks there are no nice options for a pod for it.

As far as belt sliping, that was a issue when I had my SI to but we just adjusted it nice and tight. From what I have read for the stage 1 a stock belt size works fine but like you said once you get smaller pulleys you need a smaller belt as well.

Thanks for the tips and I will be posting up before and after dyno charts.

Awesome! ssjoeboe9 put the pods behind the door/storage compartment that's above the Not an Ashtray storage. Basically the door under the climate controls and stuff. If you have a TECH, that storage is replaced by the DVD unit unfortunately.

This kit come with install directions with pictures for the 9th gen civic si and then it has all written directions for the TSX so I am thinking the install is similar to the 9th gen civic.

We will see, I am going to do the instal next Friday and Saturday and then fire it up and see how it runs with the base map Vit sent me :)

Did the install last night it's different from the 9th gen civic. Pictures and diagrams for the TSX would of really helped. But I got it done and full tune will be coming June 27th. And adjusting the belt would be a lot easier with two people, it's recommended in the instructions.

Here are a few pics of the set up.............

A few things I did not like was the way they have you run the PCV valve hose. Just not very clean IMO.

Since there were no pictures provided I was not to sure where to mount the A/C line bracket.

Here is a pic of the belt pulleys

Half way through the install, the did a nice job on making it easier to get to the lower left bolt on the mani, the water house could have been a little longer and they want you to reuse the stock clamp but I used a aftermarket one.

And the aftermath of the install from the night before ;)

I liked that you can reuse the stock belt, and there is no need to mess with the fuel pump with the stage 1 kit. Not having plug and play clips for the injectors sucked also.

I will post before tune numbers and after tune numbers :)

Clean build, brother! Keep us updated on the build! I'm curious to see what kinda numbers you put down because I'm planning on going the same route!

I will be heading down on the 27th of this month to get my dyno tune so I will post before and after number.

To be honest I really don't have my hopes up of even cracking 250 whp with a basic kit.

From where?
I saw them as a add on when you buy the injectors from Vit Vipers web site. So you can probably get them there or there has to be another place that sells them. You can even go directly to the people who sell the injectors and I am sure they can help.
