I've read a lot on the famous ECT 2 sensor causing multiple check engine/check emission system and know a little bit on this issue but I'm facing a strange situation. I bought my TSX(2006 6MT) without any CEL:

After 2000 KM : P0128, P0111 & P2183 *CEL reset*
After 1000-1500 KM : P0128 *P0111 & P2183 dissapeared + CEL reset*

Now waiting for it to pop again...not that my car isn't overheating & thermostat is opening fine.



Could it still be ECT 2 ? Should I wait until CEL pop on again or I should replace the ECT 2 right now to fix the issue ?

Yes change the sensor it comes and goes bc the sensor is starting to act up. Thats why the code comes and goes away. It happened to me. Its a $26 sensor.

P2183 and P0111 never came back but guess what...

I hope the probleme is solved!
