The NSX is sadly outdated at this point in time. The car needs a redesign from the bottom up. Still looks cool though, but the performance standards have changed drastically since the NSX came out.....in 1991.

although the class is so different... but I think I will buy sth that fit my taste.
yes... agree... but it is still a very fast car on track. A car that was designed more than 10 years ago, and still can compete with cars nowadays. I think it should be a good one when Honda get a new NSX out.Ferg said:The NSX is sadly outdated at this point in time. The car needs a redesign from the bottom up. hmm..boxter vs. S2k...there's another decision...Ferg said:Maybe a Mercedes-Benz or Lexus forum would be a good place to go? My guess is, like me, most people here have not driven either one. So their opinions are based mostly on looks.
If you were to ask my opinion, I'd say for that kind of money a Porsche Boxter looks real nice. Or, you could buy an S2000 and another TSX for your daily commute, and still have some cash to bank.
:woot:
I would buy neither. I will take a Porsche or the M3 or M5 instead.theos_tsx said:sorry this maybe a little off topic but i am giving my TSX to my sister, and I am buying a new car. i want a nice luxury convertable so i pulled it down to two cars. the Mercedes CLK500 and the Lexus SC430. Tough choice. Give me some opinions. THanks!!

I think about 82 for the 3.8L, 350hp 997 "Carrera S" but that would also include the (optional) floor mats, the (optional) rear wiper and the (optional) silver paint.larchmont said:I see you can have one of these for only about 90K.
But I'm sure that's stripped.
And the 997 would be a bargain -- only like 70?

Do it!!! Yoo can doowit!!! I'd love to do the factory tour whenever I buy a porsche..bob shiftright said:I'm trying to talk my wife into a factory delivery tour in Stuttgart.
Yeah, that sounds generous enough.bob shiftright said:.....(Nooooooo OF COURSE IT'S NOT for my kid! She's getting 4 years of college and 4 years of grad school paid for!)
:jump:
depending on what the majors are and which college(s), you won't get a fair trade...larchmont said:Yeah, that sounds generous enough.
Possible poll question: Who would trade 4 years of college and 4 years of grad school for a Porsche/Lamborghini/SC430?
I think we'd be horrified at the results.![]()
Doh..I didn't realize you are in Canada... Lexus is defiantely your choice if you're looking for luxo. How about an Audi S4 Cabriolet?theos_tsx said:yeah im looking around a little over 110 000$ CAN as a price range, and luxury is a key as someone pointed out Lexus is really luxury, even the back seats that have no way of fitting a kid, let alone an adult is really well made and bolstered. What other cars around the price range are availble. Is the Porsche still in the question?
Which brings us right back to......MarkPinTx said:......I'd rethink the whole thing. It's a friggin car for cryin out loud. Get something reasonable and nice, keep the rest.
Gotta disagree a little with CL9 on this.CL9 K24a said:Not to be an ass ... But what matters on what the public thinks about what car you're interested in buying? Seriously if you've made up your mind on whatever make/model or in fact anything in life, no one can change your decision.....
