"Dear Barry
We value you as a Honda customer and appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concern. On behalf of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., we apologize for the circumstances which prompted you to reach out to us. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for bringing your concern(s) to our attention.

Upon further review of the circumstances related to the inability to adjust the calendar/clock, we have confirmed that the issue is related to the navigation system’s internal calendar/clock.

We have also confirmed that the internal calendar/clock issue is temporary, and the navigation system will auto correct itself after the summer of 2022. We ask that you wait until September 2022, after which you will be able to manually adjust the calendar/clock to your preferred time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding with this matter

Kind regards,
Honda In-Car Technology Support
Case # 12801645."

The temporary "fix" is to disconnect battery and reconnect at 1 o'clock, which is the default setting for clock. Remember to have your NAV codes.

GPS doesn't ever send a full date. It never sends the year, just the number of weeks, limited to 10 bits, so it rolls over ever 1024 weeks or 19.7 years. So, if you are trying to parse the date from a GPS and you get week 0, you need to guess when it is: Jan 1980, Aug 1999 or April 2019.

I cant get my clock to give me right time and it won't let me set it up manually.
In my 2010 with NAV I pressed the setup button to the right of the menu button, and then found a way to set the clock on the screen… but the trick is to back out without saving (don‘t press enter). The clock held the correct time setting the next time the car was started.
