So i was waiting on a parking lot and decided to stick my hand in the drivers side window while it was closing, i guess the mechanizm sensed that my hand was there and instantly pulled the window down half way. I switched to the passager side and tried the same thing, stuck my hand in the window thinking that it would act the same way as drivers side window, that vicious thing almost took sliced my hand in half, not even stopping it kept trying to close the window. I think Acura should consider putting somekind of a mechanizm that stops or rolls back the window before some crazy kid cuts his head off.

Only Auto Windows have that feature, since the passenger side is still manual control(power but manual control) it wont have that safety feature, My Friends Accords like this, my moms MDX is like this, only the drivers window is fully auto...only thing w/ this is you have to have it in full automode, for it to work, if ur still holding it, and someone puts there hand there, its gonna wanna keep on shutting...

I remember a few years back my dad was looking at Lexus, and this was like the first car that had this feature out there, so the sales guys trying to show it off, so hes sticks his hand there, window goes up, and since my dad didnt know (once again this was quite a few years ago) hes holding the button, so the things crushing the guys hand, and my dads wondering what the hell hes tryin to show us, and the guys trying to say as politely as he can to put the ****ing window back down,

I never knew ANY cars had this feature, let alone the TSX.
It's a good one. I'm surprised that lawsuits (or fear thereof) hasn't made the car companies have it on ALL their power windows, once the technology was available.

Yeah bold and stupid, couple of hours later i tried that with my friends brand new Navigator, i took a broom stick and stuck it in his window, i would expect a different result from a 63k car, but no the window almost cut the stick in half.

As has been said above, it's only on windows that have a "full auto close" feature. Otherwise it assumes that you'll listen to the agonized screams of your passengers and simply let go of the button.
