The clutch engagement (friction) point in my TSX seems to occur early the pedal travel--much earlier than any other vehicle I've driven.

The clutch engages after I let up the pedal only 1.5 to 2 inches off the floor--within perhaps the first 10% of the total pedal travel.

Is this normal for a TSX (or any car for that matter)? When is the engagement point for other 6MT TSX drivers?

Sounds similar to my TSX as well.

Mine is higher than that, about 40% to 50% and it's engaged. But you shouldn't worry, it's ok for it to grab early.
