My center console lights (HVAC, radio buttons etc) do not work.
I know there is a thread about getting it covered under warranty.
Is there a way to tell if it is under warranty?

Have any of you had success getting the dealer to replace recently? I have contacted 2 dealers about this and neither of them has heard of the issue and want me to bring in my car for a diagnosis that would be $50.
I am thinking if I have to go that route, then I would try to repair myself, or order the part and replace.

Is there a TSB out for this or suggestions on what to do next?

when mine did that, i called the leith acura lot in cary, nc (where I bought it from) and since i didn't have 100k on my car, it was covered in full. In my opinion, it really should have been a recall. Not a warrenty case.

Yeah, I am hoping they will cover. I haven't hit 90k yet, but don't know when my warranty ends.

The warranty was extended to 7 year, 100k miles. There is a copy of the TSB here 04-021 http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-gen-car-care/3747-tsx-technical-service-bulletins-pdf-format.html I replaced mine myself, it was a pretty easy fix. I just ordered the replacement board from a dealer and it came with instructions. I also followed some DIY threads on the forums.

yah, it only took the lot 20 mins and my car was ready. I remember them telling me the board was around 170ish

I have it scheduled to go in on Tues. Hopefully it will be covered. They are supposed to let me know if there is a charge. So we will see what happens.

So they will not cover it under warranty. I guess I missed the 7yr on the TSB by a couple months. I think I will remove the pcb and see if I can identify the problem and repair. If not I will prob order a new pcb.
