So my passenger airbag pop a while back and i never had it repaired cause the dealer charged 4 times what a local garage charged and even then as i student i couldn't afford all the labor charge. I am willing do to do it myself if i have to(would be a great learning experience).

here's my question:

Since my airbag pop and it left a nasty hole in the dashboard, does the later models have a re-closeable airbag socket or is it all one piece like the 04.

And would later model fit my 04.(dashboard wise)

All the dashboards are the same in that they don't have "re-closeable sockets". According to Acura, the dashboards carry updated part numbers for 06+ but I'm not sure what the change is. Best look for 04-05 to be sure.
