I did all my haggling over the net and a few conversations and was in and out of the dealership in a bit over an hour. Got a damn good price too.

Best price

Very timely post on your part. I did the same thing working on price over the net with many local Acura dealers. Did David McDavid sell to you at their invoice or how much over. I am trying to make sure they are telling me the truth (difficult...) and that I am getting a good price.

Look forward to your post.

price

have not bought yet still looking for best price although I think is current David McDavid price is close. $28,000 is no extra options. 2006 TSX auto w/ Nav base invoice is $27,872 ($27,257+$615 destination) and dealer holdback is $897 so $27,872 - $897 = $26,975 this is supposedly rock bottom...no dealer profit.

What have others paid for a similar car?

I purchased the 2006 tsx AT w/o nav for 26,200 yesterday. This included tint and dest. I paid for TTL on top of the 26,200. I just gave them my offer with emails from another dealer offering the same car at 26,700 and they said ok. No haggling or anything. Now I wonder could I have gotten the car for less or was this jsut good service?

I'm getting a 42 mo. lease from David McDavid on a 2006 TSX AT w/o navi for $395-397 w/ a $4000 down payment. Did they rip me off? It seems like a decent deal. Only thing is, they're having a heck of a time finding me a nighthawk black pearl/ebony TSX. They said it should arrive at the end of this week.

So David McDavid gave me a Carbon Grey TL yesterday as a loaner until my TSX arrives. My guess is they're trying to get me to step up to a TL. After driving a TL, am I going to enjoy the power of my 4-cylinder TSX? I hope I do, but man the TL just flies out of stoplights. The don't really care for the layout of the dashboard cluster or the stereo controls in the TL. The TSX's is much more ergonomic and sweet looking. I'm getting very excited.

I bought my 2004 TSX from David McDavid and I went everywhere trying to get a good price. They're pretty good over there. It just depends who your sales guy is and if he is cool or not, ya know. I went through a guy named Nicholas, but I don't think he works there anymore.

Finally got my NBP TSX last night with 14 miles on it. I ended up at about $1,000 under MSRP. Cranston hooked up my phone to the hands free link, and showed me how everything in the car works. Dude knows what he's doing. Great experience overall!

I'm glad it worked out for you there. I went there in person and the sales experience was horrible.

Ended up going with Goodson and ordered from the factory.
