Removed Acura script and Nav model ID with a damp q-tip and sugar. Restored the luster with Quixx paint polish.

Got a writeup on how you did it? I wanna do it to mine :)
That's legit!
I had read about a technique of using sugar cubes to remove logos from electronics. I didn't have any, so I just thought - I'll dip a q-tip in water, then in sugar. It took a bit of rubbing, but it worked! It is a bit messy, so put down some masking tape. I then wiped the dull area clean, and used a microfiber cloth and Quixx Paint Polish to restore the satin finish.

Looks great. What does the sugar do?
I think the sugar acts as a scrub while the damp q-tip provides it with some lubricity. Similar to like a face wash I guess...

I kinda like the emblem there though, however if it ever begins coming off I'll def use this to my advantage.

good to know. rep for you
Thats Dope I had seen someone do this a while back on a 05 tsx before I had my own but it didnt look anywhere near as good as yours
Totally doing this. In for a write up!
Finally got around to do this "mod". It is time consuming (30-45 minutes) for such a small area. Even more so if you are somewhat of a perfectionist. But I'm happy with it gone! Rep for you sir!!

Got the steps you took in order to do this mod??
Not my write up. I followed the small amount of info on the 1st page.

Water, sugar, and Q-tips. Towel and some masking tape. I chose to just use a towel because I didn't have any tape.

1. Wet the Q-tip
2. Put the Q-tip in the sugar
3. Scrub the the letters until gone.
4. Repeat 1-3 until completely gone.
5. Polish with Quixx or a type of liquid wax.

It took me about 30-45 minutes.

Hope the owner of this thread doesn't mind me putting some steps up on this process.

I've done this mod as well. I suggest taping up the buttons and keeping a towel handy because it get sticky and messy. I just had a small bowl of sugar and a small cup of water and dipped the qtip in water before the sugar then started to rub it on the dash. It does take about an hour. Only thing I've got to do now is the Polish part.
Yeah I forgot that part. I just held the edge of a towel right above the buttons. I edited my previous comment.
