Depo Headlights

Saw some Depo headlamps on ebay for sale. How are they? Mainly wanna get them to get rid of the amber on the side and the signal light but I'm more curious as to how the projectors in there are considering TSX stock projectors are one of the best around (Had them retrofitted in my old Prelude). Anyone know how good the cut off is and stuff? Is it close to OEM?

Horrible projector output, you might want to considered swapping the projectors with your oem.

what's the difference between depo, fish cake and authentic euro r other than its name?

Fishcake is not a brand... its just a seller on ebay.

Depo is a replacement of OEM... so the quality isn't OEM standard and the projectors isn't as crisp as OEM.
Plastic is lower quality on depos, i saw a couple used sets that always had burn marks where the high beams are :hmmph: projectors were ok on my set, seems like a hit or miss with depos

for the set I got, fitment was a couple mm off on the drivers side. I confirmed this with a friend who also had that gap.

I ended up just taking the reflector and clear turn signal out of the depos and putting them into my oem headlights
Damn. Looks like I have a project on my hands.
I bought a pair to replace my Real JDM set due to condensation. Until the JDM are fixed I have no complaints. They look good and do their job at night. Yes the projector isn't as good as OEM but I can see the road clearly. I'll be selling my set soon after I finish my oem lights. FYI I know the projectors any be swapped without some modification because the screw patterns are different
I say either buy authentic jdm or just bake your own and take out ambers...
Why hasnt any company out there taken steps to create clear replacement corners and reflectors is beyod me. I mean this would be sooooo easy to make , all they would need is a set of donor TSX Headlights , make the mold , run the parts , whamo slammo !!!! repleacement clears....hmm i wonder if i can do it on my own ???

Do it. I'm down to buy. I've always wanted that. I seen a set a loooooooooong time ago.
I'd buy some if ur gonna make it :D
I'd buy as well... but I'd probably buy just a whole set since my lenses are worn and I've already wet sanded them a while back. Time for an upgrade...
I have a basic knowledge on how to produce replication of something via mould, but i will have to do more research and obtain some "donor" parts. plus i have to figure out where i can get clear plastic that is liquid enough to pour into a mold. give me some time on this to dig around for info. it might take a long time to do this as well though if I have a one man operation with a one set of molds lol. maybe it would be easier just to make a DIY if i can figure out ho to meke it work.
