It happened in Portland actually.
Great job on the diy danny...f*ck that a**hole that stole your visors! I like the cgp b pillars lol
Great DIY, thanks for that! One of my b-pillars is scratched and actually has a dent in it from the previous owner, and I've been looking into getting it filled and re-vinyled for quite a while now.

Just a quick point though, it might actually be easier to wet apply the new vinyl pieces? I did a wet application on the B-pillar vinyl on my last car, and I found it made it a lot easier to tuck the vinyl in under trim pieces etc. On the negative side though, the folded over bits simply wouldn't stick properly until it dried - that took a good 2-3 days til they were stuck down properly. Once they did stick they didn't budge though luckily!
Great job on the DIY, Danny - always appreciative for your information and contribution to this forum for stuff like this -
Dang i was hoping you were gonna remove both vinyl and take a picture of how it'd look with cgp pillars!

+1

I was like, wow, that looks pretty decent, how about both sides!

Great DIY nonetheless.
I also really wanted to see what cgp pillars would look like but the rears didn't get damaged so I didn't want to replace it. It would have probably be a first look on what oem paint pillars look like. I think it can be photoshopped
Nice DIY. It sucks about your visors. Some people just don't have any respect at all. Karma is a bitch though, they'll receive punishment soon enough.

The B-pillars uncovered would look sweet I think. +1 on photoshop/finding out what it would look like. Might have found the newest and free mod.
Body color B pillars probably only look good on CGP, NBP, RBP.

Haha...my thoughts exactly! I read an old post about a year ago that stated that underneath the B pillar vinyl u would find whatever color ur car was. I was curious so I peeled just a tiny lil bit from the inside corner and sure enough, there was my NBP! My vinyl is decent with a few scuffs and I seriously considered removing all the vinyl cuz afterall, my car is black and it'll probably look good but I just never pulled the trigger for fear I wouldn't be able to reverse it. :nervous: but now,....hmmmm?....

Great write up Danny!

^ I think nbp is the perfect candidate for vinyl removal because youre coming from flat black to clear coat black
damn danny that looks really good.dumb asshole who took your visors tho.sorry to hear.
Great Diy danny, sorry you had to waste money because of some idiots!
Great write up. I had no idea that part was vinyl. I just thought it was plastic.

I would love to see this. Please post pics if you do.
I wonder if the black Euro R window trim is just the chrome ones covered in vinyl.

Has anybody ever done this and taken a picture of it yet? or replaced it with Carbon Fiber Vynl which im thinking about doing?
