There are 3 engine mounts and a handful of transmission mounts.

Engine mounts: Front, rear, and (passenger) side. I replaced the front and rear ones with "Anchor" brand. While they look like OEM, and even had the OEM part numbers in the rubber mold, they are stiffer. I don't like them. I originally liked them, but find them too stiff. I plan to change the front one to an OEM mount that has the hydraulic connection for the variable-stiffness feature our cars have. The Anchor mount didn't have that, although their website said they do.

How can I check if passenger side motor mount is bad?
Has anyone replaced it as DYI?
Just checked and mount is only attached by 3 bolts only. Makes no sense to pay $90 for labor.
I want to know if I still need to support engine when taking the old one out.

changed the rear one, but the vibration is still there. Gosh... Might be it's the front/side or one of those transmission ones... :(

Did you change you axles? All my mounts checked out okay. I changed my axles to aftermarket, vibration is still there. I took my car to another mechanic and he is telling me that I should have replaced with OEM.
Does anyone know if aftermarket axles can cause the vibration?

Finally :) fixed the vibration problem. Anyone who is having vibration problems due to axles, don't ever use after market parts. OEM is the way to go. Solved the vibration, runs like brand new. Pricey ($500 per side) but worth it.
