I have a 2004 TSX 6speed with 167,000 kms. Injen cold air intake, after market headers (came with the car and haven't checked the brand)..

I recently started hearing a light knocking noise coming from the engine. The engine light is on, calls for the camshaft position sensors and crankshaft sensor to be replaced. I have the sensors, just haven't replaced them yet.
I know its hard to explain the sound its making but i will try to upload a video asap.
The sound begins starts right when the car is turned on. Doesn't really make a difference with higher rpm's. i recently got a full synthetic mobile 1 oil change.

Anybody know what could be causing this noise? And average repairs cost if the issue is well known?

Considering selling the car if this is going to turn out bad...

Chain stretch is a common and normal issue, will happen on all TSXs, at some point 150 kms, 100 miles is well within known range to replace the chain...

Replace timing chain and chain guides.

Good luck.

Nino
