I’m tryna see if anyone successfully swapped a 09 TSX engine to a stronger 2010 and up engine

Someone definitely has. They’re identical engines. Just a quick FYI, it’s 2011 and onward, so 2010 still had the VTC issues.

Unless your engine is hooped, it’s cheaper just to fix it.

We’ll I got the k series which is the 4 cylinder I got a manual tranny and was tryna swap for the v-6 which is in the 2010 and up but they’re all automatic

Okay. You should have stated that originally. The 2.4 went through the entire production run. That swap will cost more than simply buying a V6 TSX.

There will be. Tons of things change. Mounts, wiring, ecu, etc

The J35 3.5L V6 was never available with a manual trans in the 2nd Gen TSX.
I have never heard of anyone swapping a V6 into a 4 cylinder manual trans 2nd Gen TSX.

There is one gent on this forum who swapped the 3.5L V6 into his manual trans 1st Gen TSX.

TSX build... Mind if I do a J?
