Enkei JS+M - undecided

They are cell phone pics, so don't hate. I got these for a STEAL of a deal, so I couldnt turn them down. Now Im not sure if I like them. Im getting springs to lower the car about 1 1/2 inches, which I think will make it look better. But my main concern is Im more looking to have my car like "clean and nice" and no so much "sporty and fast". Being they are Enkei Racing wheels....Im getting the "sporty and fast" vibe. Am I making any sense? What do you think...

I like the style but they NEED to be larger.
only way you will pull off this look is if you are literally slammed. otherwise too small....
Ughhhh Im not slamming my car. No way, no how. But I agree. They are 17s....what size do you recommend?
once it lowered abit it will look better

are they 17's?

ive got 17's on mine, not too small if you ask me
They are 17s. Yet everyone sees them and thinks they are smaller. I think its the lip that makes it look smaller. And the fact that its not lowered yet.

Nay...
Unfortunately, Im beginning to agree. Im not going to make a firm decision until its lowered. Hopefully I can make some money off them atleast. I will most definitely get more than I paid for them. Ha.
Get urself some 18's ... 17's are too small IMO...
I have 17" EV5s that I also got for a semi-steal, they make me want to crank the coilovers down some more. I still like them far better than what I traded for them though.

I've never ever been a 5 star fan. But I couldn't not get them for the price. I'm thinking they are FS/FT. :)

Wheels or not, there is nothing "fast" about our cars. =P

Ladies and gentlemen... suspension before wheels. Always!

Well, in certain areas, they do get stolen pretty quickly

There's nothing fast about a stock Civic either. But every 16 year old will get some cheap five star "racing" wheel and think they are the next star of the Fast and Furious.....Not really trying to fall into that comparison. I'd rather just look like I have "nice shit".

And yes, suspension first would have been preferable. But I am broke. Wheels just happened to become available first. :)
I'd say 9/10 people do wheels first, then another 6/10 never do suspension. At least from what I see around here.
I ordered the Tein S springs yesterday. It won't be long before it's lowered. I neeeeeed to paint the rust on my brakes and calipers too. Looks terrible.

LoL perhaps, but the quickness in which a car gets stolen vs. the speed of said car are two completely different things. :bill: :bill:
Pass on those mang. Sell them and run stocks, get some coilovers, and enjoy.
