I just want to know when some of you guys who have the TSX got their first oil change. The owner's manual says 10,000 miles, but is that too long? Also will adding 19" rims mess up or disable the VSA stability control?

In Canada, the first scheduled maintanence is at 8,000km and the second is 16,000km.

So, for you guys, wouldn't it be 5,000mi and 10,000mi?


And rims won't mess up the VSA, but 19's will most likely throw off your speedo (depending on the tire size).

I say just always change the oil every 3K miles. I mean it dont matter if car is new or not, just change it to be sure.

I change oil of my TSX today at 6000 miles.
I put in about 4.1 quarts of synthetic Mobil 1 5W30.
