Welcome, CHRONIC! You might be inexperienced, but obviously you're smart! I mean, you sure picked the right car! :D

I don't really know about Canada prices, but.....that number is WAY BELOW what I remember seeing. Last that I remember people talking about it, 39K was considered a good deal!!!!

So, I don't understand. Has the exchange rate changed a lot???
Or are the dealers getting desperate to unload the '04's? (I sure haven't heard anything like that.)

Anyway, let's wait until our Canada people get on this. I'm sure you'll get a lot of good input.

34,800 is the sticker price, b4 the dealer fees and taxes.
i never bought a car b4 so i don't know what would be a good deal.
would 1000 or 2000 off MSRP be a good deal?
or should i go even lower than that when negotiating.

OK -- I guess it's those "fees and taxes" that bring it way up.
Especially the taxes.

As I said, last we discussed it, 39,000 (all together) was considered a good deal.

How much off MSRP is that? Whatever that is, that'll be pretty close to your answer.

P.S. All you other U.S. people, remember -- these prices are in Canadian dollars -- don't have a heart attack!
