Safest Indeed

6/15 are Honda products..not bad. I'm also surprised no toyota/lexus is on there. If this list is even somewhat accurate, hondas are the safest.
Honda/Acura have been taking their "Safety for Everyone" campaign pretty seriously. Unlike others, all the airbags & things such as VSA are standard, all seats have the proper head restraints & Acura also has the ACE body structure.

I posted this thread a while ago where the IIHS gave every Acura 5 stars in all of their crash test ratings - a 1st for any car manufacturer (they were also quick to point out that no Lexus or Infiniti got top scores). Honda almost had all of theirs ... I think only the FCX & S2000 did not get top scores. So this Forbes list pretty much just echoes those results.

The only brand that seems to take safety as seriously is Subaru.

The TL

I am wondering if they did not test a 2009 TL in time bc that was an odd omission since it has the same safety gear that all the Acuras have ... the IIHS did award it 5 stars in all of their crash tests so I would think that it would make this list.

with their "Safety for Everyone" , I am assuming this is why they stopped making the RSX. one reason on top of Honda coming out with the 06+ Si
