Hi all, I have some songs on my iPod that are unicode tagged (in Chinese) for their title, album and artist information. The song information does not appear when I connect the iPod to my 09 TSX (Tech). The songs are there -- I can play them (albeit blindingly) -- but the title, album and artist information are showing up as blank so I cannot select which to play using the interface dial.

Does anyone else have this problem if he/she has songs tagged in unicode? Any ideas for solving this (other than retagging my songs in English)? I guess I can use the aux (2.5mm) jack but then I have to be fiddling with my iPod while driving...

um... I don't think there is a real solution unless Acura provides some sort of updates for head unit. Perhaps you can create some playlist and name them in English.
Most cars in US (well... out of states too) do not support Chinese on their headunit. The only one I heard which can display 80% Chinese is BMW 3-series with out Navi. 80%??? Yes, cause's it supposes to show Japanese.
