here's another method too

1. Type in "dealer autocheck inurl:vin" on Google search bar.
2. Click the first link that comes up.
3. Look at the url.
4. The end of the url should be a vin #.
5. Delete the current vin # and replace it your vin #.
6. Your vehicle history should show up after you hit enter.

Yeah, sorry about that. Since my original posting, it looks like who ever ran the site decided to take it down for good. It was pretty popular over at Drive Accord forums and we used to keep each other informed on when the site would go down temporarily then come back up. But it hasn't been back up now for months and I think it's dead.

The data reported on many vin decoder websites is often not understandable. There are models that are not exact, but a while ago I found a good free vin decoder site. The truth is that since I found it, it is the one that has failed me the least. You get more relevant data than other similar sites. And you can also see the photos of the vehicles. A greeting!
