I have a 2007 Acura TSX that was involved in a front end collision. The driver airbag went off and the hit was right near the left (driver side) impact sensor.

Everything has been replaced on the car but I have one major concern:
I used my old impact crash sensor and I have no lights, should I keep my old one or buy a new one? If so, why?

Also- I bought a impact crash sensor from the junk yard, but when I put it on, it gave me a "check airbag system" light. Instead of buying a new one, I just put my old one back on and the light went away.

I would definitely suggest to replace the sensor with a new one, especially after an accident.

I actually have a new never used driver side sensor that I bought for my TSX. I purchased it thinking my sensor was bad, but when I went to replace it I found out that a rat chewed on the wire and thats what caused the airbag CEL.

If you are interested feel free to PM me. I have posted it on Offerup (Acura TSX Driver Side Impact Sensor 77930-SEC-A82 for Sale in Seattle, WA - OfferUp).
