long story short. so i had an accident on my driver's fender and got it replaced. when i closed the hood i felt its a little weird because it wouldn't locked sometimes but it did locked until today when i popped my hood to check my intake filter to see if i have to clean it and AFTER i couldn't pop it back in or wouldn't locked......HELP PLEASEEEEE!!!!:squint:

did you check the hood cable? it could be jamed open causing it to not lock? or did you take a look at the hood latch? that would be a good place to start.

yup went to the shop this morning and found out i need to replace the cable...left my hood unlocked overnight and rained hard. lucky not much of water went in.

anybody know the part # for it? thanks
