Hey, just had a question for people. What are your gasoline station and octane preferences?

So far from having my 09 tsx for 2 weeks, I've only filled her up with Chevron 91 octane. Im thinking about using 94 octane. Just wondering what others prefer and use.

Thanks

some shell station sells 91 with no ethanol. Those should pack more energy.... or is it a myth? not sure.

PetroCanada 91 octane. Use Petro Canada CC and you get 2 cent off per litre and Petro points. Already redeemed $300 of iTunes, Futureshop and Rona gift cards.

Nowadays, it is about saving money.

I don't notice a difference between gas stations but generally get Chevron 91 with a tank of 94 mixed in every 5-6 tanks for a little extra cleaning. 94 is only 3 cents more per litre in Victoria so I don't mind springing a few times a year for it ($5/yr extra).

I try to fill ESSO 91 but there are two Chevrons less than 1 km away from my house or work. I was going to run 87 for a few tanks but this car gets way better gas mileage than my DSM so I haven't.

Since Shell has added that Nitrogen to their 91, I've been noticing a decrease in MPG (then again the car just received a reflash after I/H were installed)...but with Petro Canada's 94 i've got some nice solid numbers...
