we are going to do a 0-120 mile run 3 times.

The 2002 C230 coupe is stock but it is supercharged so might take me after 80 will post results.

C Class is the only manual they made and it is very nice

First gear is short its very nice and easy to drive very soft clutch The first time I sat in his car I felt like it was automatic.. Very hard to stall lol catches gear very easily.. and the stock shifter has very short shifts.

if he turns off his asp and abs he will take me after he hits 3rd gear at 4.5k rpm because boost will kick in.. but I am not 100% sure on that.

My Audi was nearly impossible to stall, it was dummy proof, you could even feel the gas pedal going down if the car was about to stall, i miss a manual transmission....

not that I know of.. They should make all Benz's with MT most people will buy it over theh BMW then

Never had an Audi heard they make really good cars.. If I would ever get an audi it would be the S4

usually that long strip on francis lewis blvd or somewhere on the side of LIE. This race we did on the highway at around 4am.

The Results were very wierd

C230 had abs off so it adds alot of power to his car.

So from 0-110 the first time

He was close to my rear door from start till he hit 3rd gear then I see him pulling up to me his boost kicked in heh then after about 95mph he was close to my front bumper till 110 and we stopped if we kept going he would of prolly get ahead of me.

I still finished alittle ahead but damn those cars are quick it was amazing how he cought up.

we decided to only do one run

But if you see a C230 on the street it will have abs on so wont be the same. Tsx is much quicker if that is the case.

I have a friend who owns a RSX Type S stock we might do a run

BAS,ASP,ESP all slow down the Benz they lock up the tires during hard throttle. There is a way to turn it off but it will go back to like it was when you turn off the car so its a hassle

opps forgot to mentien abs aswell in the last post. It does you should see the difference the car is soo slow with those things on. It is a safty Precaution Mercedes uses. We have been in situations where we stopped from 90 - 0 in seconds and cars behind us just pile up. You know how NY is everyone goes 60+ then all of a sudden everyone brakes then goes this is the perfect car to have for those situations.

MB has manuals, but I guess they don't sell many of them in the US. They even have a minivan that is manual.

I rented a car from Hertz in France and it was a C180 4 door with a 5 speed. No leather, wind up windows. It was stripped. (top speed 120 mph, certified by me )
