Hello all!

My name's Tim, and I hail from good old Minnesnowta. Although I've been lurking on here for months, I decided to make it official, and made an account a couple of weeks back. To top it off, I've officially joined the club by picking up a 2006 ASM 6-speed w/navi. Had to drive 6.5hrs to pick it up, but it was worth it!

Looking forward to slowly working on this car! Also looking forward to tapping into the knowledge-base on this forum!

Cheers!

Thanks! I noticed that you're in Toronto? What do you do in the winter? Do you drive the tsx all year round, or do you rock a beater?

I'm still trying to figure out what I need to do to winterize mine :nervous:
Hello fellow Minnesotan, I drove my old 2006 TSX all year round, it is a very good car for snow and I never had any problems with it. I used all season tires for my car and never have any problems while on the road.

You will encounter a few problems getting out of the driveway like any other non-AWD cars but once you get going dont stop or else I guarantee you will get stuck. :)

It is a heavy car so you do get better traction than those lighter FWD cars. Nothing much you need to do to winterize besides keeping her clean by going to BP gas station and keeping those salt at the bottom of the car off. Congrats on the purchase and enjoy the ride.

good to know! i've always had civic hatchbacks my whole life, and never have gotten stuck before. moving onto a heavier sedan is a different feel for me, but it's good to know you've had success, especially on all season tires!

I'm also from Minnesota and have a ASM, 07. Where in Minnesota are you from?
