Hey,

I got a new clutch a couple weeks ago. It fixed the issue I was having where most of my gears were not as smooth as they should be. It also fixed the grinding issue for the reverse gear and the first gear, all of my other gears did grind as well but very slightly.

However, a week or so after the clutch, my first gear is hard to go into sometimes, it could be the winter weather, I dunno. but my 6th gear is rough and my reverse has started to grind as well.

I don't know what the issue is.

I am hoping to God it is not the tranny.

It only has 155,000 kilometers, I bought it August 28, 2012 and the previous owner was the first owner and he babied it.

Anyone know what is going on ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you haven't already, check the following:

-clutch pedal adjustment
-clutch master cylinder+fluid
-clutch slave cylinder
Thanks bud, yeah you're right, I got it checked yesterday and its my clutch master. Apparently there are 3 seals in it and they're all gone.

By the way in first gear when my car is stopped, sometimes I hear this weird rattling noise.

My friend said it could be my ISB or Throwout bearing or something.

your throwout bearing should be replaced when your clutch is replaced. if you didnt do that then it is a possibility that it could be the throwout bearing.

i believe these are the things that need to be done when you change your clutch

-refinish flywheel
-replace clutch
-replace pressure plate
-replace throwout bearing

then drive and baby it for like the first 10-20k?
