My poor TSX was beaten up by mother nature last night. Every horizontal surface has a dent. All of the trim pieces are dented too. I was sick watching it unfold. Quarter to half-dollar sized hail in large volumes makes quite the mess. I don't have any damage pictures yet, and I am getting a repair quote from a body shop (yay $0 deductible!) My questions is, how does a body shop repair this type of damage? Hundreds of dents! I know they will tell me when I go get a quote, but I'm curious of anyone else's experience with this.

I will post some pictures later on. Still kinda bummed about it all!

sorry it happened/

it depends. there is Paintless Dent Repair which is labor intensive vs. the cost of a new part and paint. Trim and such just needs replaced.

any pics/

It may very well be totaled out, pointless dent repair can do a lot, but damage of that scale will always look funky. I would probably push the agent to salvage it and get another one. Obviously anything can be repaired, if you choose to have it repaired. Be very thorough and look it over in a well lit area when it's done, don't accept it if it isn't in pre-damage condition.
